Brett Perry

Brett PerryBrett Perry is a Princess Grace Award Winner. National in scope, the Princess Grace Foundation - USA is dedicated to identifying and assisting emerging talent in theater, dance and film by awarding grants in the form of scholarships, apprentices and fellowships. Working in conjunction with nominating schools and non-profit companies, the Princess Grace Awards recognize the talents of individual artists in theater, dance and film.

Brett is one of only five dancers selected nationally for this award. A $30,000 scholarship was awarded in his name to the Trey McIntyre Project, the dance company with which he now performs. Brett Perry started dancing at the age of 3 at the Dance Company in Indianapolis, IN under the direction of Diane Gudat. After graduating high school he moved to New York to attend The Juilliard School where he performed in works by choreographers Eliot Feld, William Forsythe, Adam Houghland, Twyla Tharp, Doug Varone, Jose Limon, Ohad Naharin and Robert Battle. Brett joined Trey McIntyre Project immediately out of Juilliard and is now beginning his third season with TMP living in Boise, ID and touring around the world.
